The Jersey Shore Wildcats' offense had a big night, peppering the Roc City Royals with 43 shots throughout the game. The Jersey Shore Wildcats took the lead late in the second on a goal from Brenden Henzie.
During the first period, Colclough opened the scoring for the Wildcats with a goal at 6:37 with a helper from his linemate Gulawsky.
In the second, Henzie deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 16:57 with assists from O’connor and Mullen. Randall quickly followed with a goal at 18:05 with helpers from his teammates Bennett and Johnson.
In the third period, Nowak finally put the Royals on the board with a goal at 10:30 with assists from his linemates, Reid and Corey.
Jersey Shore’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Sesock as he stopped 21 of the 22 shots he faced. Sesock’s counterpart, Martinez, also had a big night, managing to stop 40 of 43, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Jersey Shore Wildcats’ record to (9-4-0-0).
