Dinmukhamed Dzhangarashev did his part, adding 2 goals and Reginald Hunter contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Spencer Norris delivered for his team with 2 goals.
In the first, Hunter opened the scoring for the Wildcats with a goal at 12:38 with helpers from his linemates, Randall and Gulawsky. Colclough deposited a goal at 15:07 with an assist from defenseman Bennett. Norris finally put the Royals on the board with a goal at 17:26 with a helper from defenseman Besser.
In the second period, Reid netted a goal at 3:47 with an assist from defenseman Seay. Dzhangarashev quickly followed with a goal at 5:32 with a helper from Johnson. Mullen scored what turned out to be the game winning goal at 13:01.
In the third, Dzhangarashev deposited a goal at 4:37 with an assist from his teammate Colclough. Norris quickly followed with a goal at 6:36 with a helper from defenseman Onufryk. Randall answered for Jersey Shore with a goal at 13:30 with assists from his linemates, Mullen and Hunter.
The Wildcats’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Anastasia as he stopped 16 of the 19 shots he faced. Anastasia’s counterpart, Peters, also had a big night, managing to stop 37 of 43, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Jersey Shore Wildcats’ record to (10-4-0-0).
